Network Chiropractic – Healing Sciatica Pain with Network Chiropractic

I learned the hard way that sciatic pain can change your life. For almost two years I had back pain and sciati9220_144348801644_557816644_2707361_5867797_aca pain down my leg. I tried just about *everything* to “get rid” of the pain. The main question on my mind was, “how do I get rid of this?” and “how do I just get my life back to normal?” Note, these questions are classic when we are in pain, feel hopeless, and are filled with fear that our pain might cost us our jobs our our happiness or the things we love to do. For me, I had always been an athlete – many of my activities we severely curtailed. Moreover, I had a hard time driving in a car or sitting for long periods of time. At night my leg would become completely numb and paralyzed and my wife would be so frightened she would want to send me to the emergency room!

At the time, I am in school learning to be a doctor. After two years of trying everything, a friend tells me to go see a “Network Chiropractor.” I show up at his office, he checks me out and the doctor gently “entrains” my spine. It doesn’t hurt. There is no twisting, cracking, or popping. Not only did I start to feel better almost immediately, after a couple of months the sciatica pain was completely gone. That was just the start.

I learned that much of what I had learned as a doctor completely forgot the amazing interplay of our body, our mind, and our emotions. Network Chiropractic uses exceptionally light contacts around the spine that cue our internal healing mechanisms. The body, the spine, and the nerves begin to heal themselves. I learned that through a combination of injuries, poor posture, and high levels of stress, my spinal cord had actually become over stretched – much like a guitar string that was too tight! When the spinal cord and its nerves (such as the sciatic nerve) are over stretched, they become very sensitive to pain. If you have suffered any kind of nerve pain like I have, you know it is one of the most awful feelings you’ll ever have! As I healed with Network Chiropractic, not only did my pain heal, but I learned to transform stress, to stop recreating problems, to discover how emotions and attitudes shaped my spine, and how to live with ease, joy, relaxation, and a sense of well being.

In short, I got so much more than I bargained for. You see, when we are stressed and scared that our pain is ruining our life, we have a hard time seeing the big picture. My pain was very hard. Yet, it also served as a catalyst for me to change my life. You see, our pain is simply our body’s way of telling us, “Hey, I need you to stop and pay attention to the way you are living your life and do something different!” Thank God that Network Chiropractic came into my life when it did. Through this wonderful and evidence-based technique, I was able to heal my pain, pay attention to my life, and create a new body and a new spine with amazing resources for healing, stress transformation, and happiness.

I personally know of no other approaches that are as integral and holistic as Network Chiropractic.   You can learn more about Network Chiropractic on my website: www.networkwellnesscharlotte.com. In Charlotte, NC, where we are located, we provide tremendous resources to the healing of your pain and so much more. There is hope. Not only do I understand your pain from the perspective of the “doctor”, I know your pain from the perspective of someone who has been there.

The quality of our life is determined by the questions we ask ourselves. As moved from “how can I get rid of this” to “What is this trying to tell me?” “What is on the other side of this?” “How can I never disempower myself again by living like a stressed out overachiever?” and “How can I treat myself and those around me with more acceptance and grace?” I went from just healing my pain to healing my attitudes about pain and about life. We have an inborn, unlimited capacity to heal and experience a full and joyous life. I hope you will use the powerful and magical tools to help you.
